“Jewellery is a medium for me to capture the stories I can’t put into words.”

The Designer

I am not a typical designer, not a trained goldsmith, and I never studied design academically. My journey into jewellery was a matter of chance, experimentation, and the expression of curiosity. Jewellery found me – born from the desire to create something lasting that preserves stories. Years spent abroad, in places full of beauty and challenges, shaped me. People and their stories taught me that true art emerges from the depth of experience. Jewellery became my medium for making the invisible visible. Every piece I design is a fragment of a story I want to share.

The Process and The Creation

Design is a process of discovery for me – without a fixed path, without clear instructions. It all begins with a feeling, a moment, or an encounter that I translate into words: a poem, a sentence, sometimes just a word. From this, a sketch emerges, often imperfect, sometimes chaotic. This is where our STILAMI team comes in. Craftsmen and artists bring their expertise and passion, not just as executors, but as co-creators, idea generators, and perfectionists.

We work with traditional techniques, deeply rooted in craftsmanship, while also experimenting with materials, shapes, and modern approaches like 3D technology. Not knowing everything makes the process exciting. Every jewellery piece is a learning experience, a discovery. Although the designs are reproduced, each piece remains unique – shaped by the story it tells.

The Visionary

STILAMI is more than just a brand – it’s a place where creativity and craftsmanship come together. I founded STILAMI to create a space where passion fuels the work. Jewellery, for me, is a bridge between what we feel and what we want to show – a living art form that truly comes to life on the body. My vision is to tell stories through jewellery. Every line, shape, and gemstone carries meaning. My work is never complete – it evolves, inspired by the people who work with me and wear my pieces. STILAMI remains a creative space where ideas grow, tradition and innovation merge, and jewellery is created that inspires generations.

More Information
“My design process is like a journey – it starts with an idea, an emotion, or a moment, and ends in a wearable piece of art that tells stories.”

Inspiration

It all begins with a feeling. Sometimes it’s an encounter, sometimes a place, sometimes a quiet moment. I capture this inspiration in words – almost like a poem that captures the essence of the story. These raw thoughts form the starting point for a new jewellery piece.

Sketches

From words come lines. Initial sketches capture the form of the idea – imperfect, raw, sometimes chaotic. There is no right or wrong here. Often, I try different approaches, discard them, and start over. It’s a creative dance between my mind, my hands, and the paper.

Material

This is where the magic begins. With the support of my team of talented craftsmen, I select the right materials. Each material has its own character, its own language. Whether gold, silver, or a gemstone – they are more than just materials; they carry the energy of the design. Often, I discover something new during this process. Materials have their quirks, and I learn more about them every day. This is what makes each jewellery piece so unique.

Craftsmanship

Here, the idea becomes a tangible piece of art. Each jewellery piece passes through the hands of people who contribute their passion and craftsmanship. It’s a blend of traditional goldsmithing and modern technology. Sometimes, it’s the small details that make the difference – an edge, a cut, an imperfect perfection that breathes life into the piece. Together, we create something that is both artistic and wearable.

Jewellery

A jewellery piece only comes to life when it is worn. In the end, it is a finished work of art that not only tells my story but also reflects that of the wearer. I love the moment when I see a finished piece – a design born from an idea, now ready to live on for generations. For me, this is the true highlight of the process.

Jewellery is more than design – it is an expression of humanity, creativity, and the desire to create something lasting. Every process, every piece, and every story reminds me that we are always searching for connections: to ourselves, to others, and to what inspires us.
